My approach

A whole-person lens for healthier, calmer skin.

Why Integrative Dermatology

Your skin is connected to every part of your health. Over years of practicing dermatology, I’ve seen how nutrition, gut health, stress, sleep, environment, and daily habits influence inflammation and chronic skin conditions.

My approach blends:

  • Medical dermatology

  • Lifestyle medicine

  • Nutrition and gut–skin science

  • Mind–body principles

The goal is simple: support your skin from the inside out while using evidence-based treatments on the outside.

The Foundations of My Approach

1. Nutrition & Gut Health

Whole, fiber-rich foods and gut support can reduce inflammation and influence conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

2. Stress & Nervous System Health

Stress affects the skin barrier, immune system, and inflammatory pathways. Small daily practices help regulate the nervous system and reduce flares.

3. Sleep & Recovery

Quality sleep supports skin repair, hydration, and immune balance — essential for chronic skin conditions.

4. Movement & Metabolic Health

Regular movement improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and supports overall health.

5. Evidence- Based Dermatology

Topicals, procedures, medications, and medical treatment remain core tools. Lifestyle strategies simply strengthen the foundation beneath them.

How I Work With Patients

I start with a traditional dermatologic evaluation and treatment plan. When helpful, I introduce simple, sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term skin wellness.

My goal is to offer care that is clear, practical, and tailored to your needs — without overwhelm.
